The State Line Riders, a chapter of Illinois ABATE, are asking you to help them Fill The Saddle Bags at the Watseka Walmart on October 7 from 9am to 1pm.
If you’d like some FREE tips and skills to help in your job search, come to the First United Methodist Church in Watseka on Sunday October 15th at 2PM.
Are you looking for a Fun girls day out? Sweat Eat Live Repeat and InsideOut Gilman are teaming up to host a Girl’s Sunday Funday on October 15th from 3 to 6 PM.
If you’re a parent with school-age children you won’t want to miss Tim Ryan’s presentation on Wednesday October 18. He is a recovered heroin and cocaine addict, featured on A&E as “Dope Man”. Doors open at 5:30 and he’ll begin speaking at 6.
Another event taking place Wednesday night October 18th is the Wine, Women, and Wellness evening from 5:30 to 7 PM, sponsored by Iroquois Memorial Hospital and held at the brand new Town and Country venue in Milford Illinois.
If you love Bingo and fundraisers give you the warm fuzzies, Saturday October 14 at 7PM, the Watseka Elks is sponsoring a Bingo event with cash prizes.
Finally, we hope you’ll come to support the Angel’s Closet Benefit Dinner on Saturday, October 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Milford Christian Church.
Angels Closet is located in Milford and provides clothing and other items to those in our communities who need them. There is no requirement to pay for these items. Angels Closet has helped many people in need in Iroquois County, and does take donations.
